Lab Mixers

Whether you need to rapidly disperse powders into liquids, homogenise different ingredients or produce stable emulsions in the laboratory, a fast, efficient mixer is a vital tool. More than that, a lab mixer must provide valuable data to the user for scaling up processes to production levels. All Maelstrom lab mixers can be equipped with instrumentation to allow power and speed data to be captured with options for external datalogging as well.

We offer two different types of lab mixer: FDM for general purpose high shear mixing and IPM for high performance emulsification.

IBV40 – IPM batch mixer

For in-batch nozzle homogenisation and emulsification, the IBV40 extends performance beyond ordinary high shear mixers towards high pressure homogenisation. With self-pumping ability and no-fuss operation, this mixer is the ideal tool for anyone needing nozzle homogenisation directly inside the vessel.

A general-purpose inline high shear laboratory mixer for rapid powder dispersion, de-agglomeration, emulification and many other uses
